1. 2020년 2월 22일에 20여명의 한국인들이 다낭에 도착하였는데 사전 통고 없이 강제 격리되었습니다. 이들은 한국의 대구에서 70km 떨어진 지역 출신사람들 이었습니다.
2. 베트남 정부는 한국인을 억류하고 10시간이나 아무 음식도 안주다가, 아침이 되어서야 샌드위치 한 봉지를 주었습니다. 뉴스 인터뷰에서 한국 사람들은 'Banh mi"를 빵이라고 불렀습니다. 그것을 현지 언론에서 한국인들이 베트남의 문화를 모욕을 했다고 주장했고, 한국 뉴스가 그걸 인용해서 보도했습니다. 사실 원래 'Banh mi"는 'Vietnamese sandwich' 로도 불립니다. 한국과 마찬가지로 아침에 간단히 먹는 샌드위치입니다. 베트남 정부에서 도시락을 제공했다는 것도 거짓말입니다. 억류되었던 며칠 동안 베트남 정부는 딱 2끼의 식사, 즉 한 끼의 'Banh mi'와 한 끼의 한국식 밥을 제공했습니다. 나머지 식사는 한국 영사관과 교민들이 제공했어요.
3. 베트남 정부가 외국인 여행객의 여권을 강제로 뺏는 것은 분명한 외교적 결례입니다. 해외 여행시 여권은 신원 확인 목적 뿐만 아니라 해당 여행자를 국가가 보호해 달라는 외교적 부탁입니다. 여권 첫 페이지를 읽어보세요. 이 여권을 가지고 있는 우리 국민을 보호해 달라는 외교부 장관의 부탁이 분명히 적혀있을 겁니다. 그걸 뺏는다는 의미는 더 이상 그 사람을 보호하지 않겠다는 선언으로 대단한 결례입니다. 베트남 정부는 기존에도 아무런 의식 없이 이러한 결례를 저질러 왔습니다.
4. 한국인들이 4성급 호텔을 요구했다는 뉴스도 거짓 뉴스입니다. 오히려 베트남 공무원이 한국인들이 비용 부담해서 4성급 호텔에 묵으라고 제안했지만 호텔들이 안전을 이유로 거절했습니다.
(이러한 사실이 알려지자 한국의 외교부 장관은 2010년 2월 28일에 베트남 부총리에게 전화를 걸어 항의했습니다. 더 어이가 없는 것은 이 일이 있고나서 베트남 정부와 베트남인들이 보여준 행동입니다.)
5. 2020년 2월 29일 베트남 정부는 사전 통고 없이 인천에서 출발한 '아시아나' 한국 항공기의 착륙을 허가하지 않고 돌려보냈습니다. 같은 날 베트남 국적기는 착륙을 허가받았습니다.
6. 2020년 2월 28일부터 베트남에 입국한 한국인 200여명을 사전 통고 없이 강제로 군부대에 가두었습니다. 여기는 청결하지 못할 뿐 아니라 녹물이 나오는 열악한 환경이었습니다.
7. 많은 베트남인들이 한국의 국기를 코로나 바이러스 모양을 그렸습니다. 베트남인들이 한국의 이름을 'South Korona'로 부릅니다. 베트남인들이 한국의 역사적 아픔인 위안부를 언급하며, '한국 여자는 맛있다'고 조롱하였습니다.

1. On February 22, 2020, about 20 Koreans arrived in Da-nang and were forcibly quarantined without any prior notices. They were tourists coming from a region 70 kilometers away from Daegu, Korea.
2. Vietnamese government kept Koreans in check and gave them no food for 10 hours. They gave a bag of sandwiches in the next morning. In a news interview, Koreans called 'Banh Mi' a bread. It was claimed by local media that Koreans insulted Vietnamese culture. In fact, Banh mi was originally called Vietnamese Sandwich. It is just a sandwich that I eat in the morning even in Korea. It is also a lie that the Vietnamese government provided dishes to Korean. During the days of detention, the Vietnamese government provided only two meals, one 'Banh mi' and one Korean meal. The rest of the meals were provided by the Korean consulate and Korean residents.
3. It is a clear diplomatic discouragement for the Vietnamese government to forcibly take away the passports of foreign travelers. 4. The news that Koreans asked for residing a over four-star hotel is also false news. Rather, a Vietnamese officers suggested that Koreans stay at a four-star hotel at a the Korean's cost, but the hotels refused for safety reasons.
(As this became known, the the minister of foreign affairs in Korea called the Vietnamese vice prime minister on February 28, 2010 to request to protest Koreans.What's more ridiculous is what the Vietnamese government and Vietnamese did after those gentle request.)
5. On February 29, 2020, the Vietnamese government did not allowed the a Korean aircraft of Asiana from Incheon, Korea to land in Hanoi and forced to return without prior notice. On the same day, the plane of Vietnamese airline was allowed to land.
6. From February 28, 2020, about 200 Koreans who arrived in Vietnam were forcibly detained in military units without prior notice. Not only was it not clean, but it was a poor environment for keep the health.
7. Many Vietnamese drew the Korean flag in the shape of a coronavirus. Vietnamese call the Korean name 'South Korona.' Vietnamese people mock 'South Korean women are delicious.' they said referring to the Japanese military sexual slavery, a historical pain.

It is understandable that the Vietnamese government, like other countries, ban Koreans from entering the country for safety concerns. But the Vietnamese did not stop and insult Korea and Korean. The Vietnamese government treats Koreans as prisoners. Rather, they ask Korea to apologize. Can you not be indignant if you are Korean?
