The Anfield outfit have sent their chief Spanish and Portuguese scout to unearth the next big talent to come out of Barca's famed La Masia academy.

Liverpool have sent scouts to watch four members of Barcelona's B side, according to Sport.

The Reds have sent chief Spanish and Portuguese scout, Kiko Espinar, as they bid to unearth the next youngster that could become a star at Anfield.

And they have been monitoring the progress of Marlon, Nili Perdomo, Marc Cardona and Wilfrid Kaptoum, who have all impressed for the Camp Nou outfit's second string.
