MUH-1 of the Republic of Korea Marine Corps Aviation Group participated in what is likely its first join exercise with the US Marines last month.
"U.S. Marines with 3d Marine Logistics Group conducted helicopter support team training with Republic of Korea Marine aircraft during Korean Marine Exercise Program (KMEP) in Pohang, South Korea, Nov. 2, 2021.
KMEP is a bilateral training exercise that increases interoperability and strengthens combined capabilities of the Republic of Korea Marines and U.S. Marines."
This exercise took place a month prior to the official formation of the ROKMC Aviation Group on December 2nd, which marked the revival of ROK Marine Aviation following its disbandment and integration into the Navy in 1973.

이 운동은 12월 2일 ROKMC Aviation Group의 공식 창립 한 달 전, 1973년 해체와 통합 이후 ROK Marine Aviation의 부활을 나타냈다.
