| 1 And he looked up, and saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury. |
1 그분께서 위를 보시며 부자들이 성전 보고에 예물을 넣는 것을 보시고 |
| 2 And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites. |
2 또 어떤 가난한 과부가 거기에 이 렙돈을 넣는 것도 보시고 |
| 3 And he said, Of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all: |
3 이르시되, 진실로 내가 너희에게 이르노니, 이 가난한 과부가 그들 모두보다 더 많이 넣었도다. |
| 4 For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had. |
4 이들은 다 풍족한 가운데서 [하나님]의 헌물로 넣었거니와 그 과부는 빈궁한 가운데서 자기가 가진 생활비 전부를 넣었느니라, 하시니라. |
| 5 And as some spake of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts, he said, |
5 ¶ 어떤 이들이 성전을 가리키며 그것이 좋은 돌과 예물로 꾸며진 것을 말하매 그분께서 이르시되, |
| 6 [As for] these things which ye behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. |
6 너희가 보는 이것들로 말하건대 날들이 이르리니 그때에 돌 하나도 다른 돌 위에 남지 아니하고 다 무너지리라, 하시매 |
| 7 And they asked him, saying, Master, but when shall these things be? and what sign [will there be] when these things shall come to pass? |
7 그들이 그분께 여쭈어 이르되, 선생님이여, 그런데 어느 때에 이런 일들이 있으리이까? 또 이런 일들이 일어날 때에 무슨 표적이 있으리이까? 하니 |
| 8 And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am [Christ]; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them. |
8 그분께서 이르시되, 너희가 속지 않도록 주의하라. 많은 사람이 내 이름으로 와서, 내가 그리스도라, 하며, 때가 가까이 왔다, 하리라. 그러므로 너희는 그들을 따라가지 말라. |
| 9 But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end [is] not by and by. |
9 또 너희가 전쟁들과 난리들에 대하여 들을 때에 무서워하지 말라. 이런 일들이 반드시 먼저 일어나야 하되 곧 끝이 오지는 아니하느니라. |
| 10 Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: |
10 그 뒤에 그분께서 그들에게 이르시되, 민족이 민족을 왕국이 왕국을 대적하여 일어나고 |
| 11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven. |
11 곳곳에 큰 지진과 기근과 역병이 있으며 또 하늘로부터 두려운 광경과 큰 표적들이 있으리라. |
| 12 But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute [you], delivering [you] up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake. |
12 그러나 이 모든 일들이 있기 전에 그들이 내 이름으로 인하여 너희에게 손을 대어 너희를 핍박하고 회당과 감옥에 넘겨주며 왕들과 치리자들 앞에 끌어가려니와 |
| 13 And it shall turn to you for a testimony. |
13 그것이 너희에게 증언의 기회로 바뀌리라. |
| 14 Settle [it] therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer: |
14 그러므로 너희가 대답할 것을 미리 궁리하지 않으리라고 마음속에 정하라. |
| 15 For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist. |
15 너희의 모든 대적들이 능히 반박하거나 대항하지 못할 입과 지혜를 내가 너희에게 주리라. |
| 16 And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and [some] of you shall they cause to be put to death. |
16 또 부모와 형제와 친족과 친구들이 너희를 배반하고 넘겨주어 너희 중의 몇 사람을 죽게 하며 |
| 17 And ye shall be hated of all [men] for my name's sake. |
17 또 너희가 내 이름으로 인하여 모든 사람에게 미움을 받을 터이나 |
| 18 But there shall not an hair of your head perish. |
18 너희 머리털 하나도 없어지지 아니하리라. |
| 19 In your patience possess ye your souls. |
19 너희는 인내로 너희 혼을 소유하라. |
| 20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh. |
20 너희가 예루살렘이 군대들에게 에워싸이는 것을 보거든 그것의 황폐함이 가까이 이른 줄 알라. |
| 21 Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto. |
21 그때에 유대에 있는 자들은 산들로 도망하고 그것의 한가운데 있는 자들은 밖으로 떠나가며 시골에 있는 자들은 그리로 들어가지 말지어다. |
| 22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. |
22 이 날들은 기록된 모든 것을 성취하기 위한 원수 갚는 날들이니라. |
| 23 But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people. |
23 오직 그 날들에는 아이 밴 자들과 젖 먹이는 자들에게 화가 있으리로다! 그 땅에 큰 고난이 있고 이 백성에게 진노가 있으리라. |
| 24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled. |
24 또 그들이 칼날에 쓰러지고 모든 민족들에게 포로로 잡혀 가며 예루살렘은 이방인들의 때가 찰 때까지 이방인들에게 짓밟히리라. |
| 25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; |
25 ¶ 또 해와 달과 별들에는 표적들이 있고 땅에는 민족들의 고난과 혼란이 있으며 바다와 파도가 울부짖으리로다. |
| 26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. |
26 땅에 임하는 그 일들을 내다보는 것으로 인해, 두려움으로 인해 사람들의 마음이 그들을 기진하게 하리니 이는 하늘의 권능들이 흔들릴 것이기 때문이라. |
| 27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. |
27 그때에 사람의 [아들]이 권능과 큰 영광을 가지고 구름 가운데서 오는 것을 그들이 보리라. |
| 28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh. |
28 이런 일들이 일어나기 시작하거든 위를 보고 너희 머리를 들라. 너희의 구속이 가까이 오고 있느니라, 하시니라. |
| 29 And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees; |
29 또 그분께서 그들에게 한 비유를 말씀하시되, 무화과나무와 모든 나무를 보라. |
| 30 When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand. |
30 그것들이 싹을 내면 너희가 보고 이제 여름이 가까이 온 줄을 너희 스스로 아나니 |
| 31 So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand. |
31 그런즉 이와 같이 너희가 이런 일들이 일어나는 것을 볼 때에 [하나님]의 왕국이 가까이 온 줄을 너희가 아느니라. |
| 32 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled. |
32 진실로 내가 너희에게 이르노니, 이 세대가 지나가기 전에 모든 것이 성취되리라. |
| 33 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away. |
33 하늘과 땅은 없어지겠으나 내 말들은 없어지지 아니하리라. |
| 34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and [so] that day come upon you unawares. |
34 ¶ 너희는 스스로 주의하라. 그렇지 않으면 언제라도 너희 마음이 과식과 술 취함과 이 세상 삶의 염려로 무겁게 되어 그 날이 알지 못하게 너희에게 임할까 염려하노니 |
| 35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. |
35 그 날이 온 지면에 거하는 모든 자들에게 올무같이 임하리라. |
| 36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man. |
36 그러므로 너희가 앞으로 일어날 이 모든 일을 피하고 사람의 [아들] 앞에 서기에 합당한 자로 여겨지도록 항상 기도하며 깨어 있으라, 하시니라. |
| 37 And in the day time he was teaching in the temple; and at night he went out, and abode in the mount that is called [the mount] of Olives. |
37 그분께서 낮에는 성전에서 가르치시고 밤에는 나가서 올리브 산이라 하는 산에서 머무시니 |
| 38 And all the people came early in the morning to him in the temple, for to hear him. |
38 온 백성이 그분의 말씀을 들으려고 아침에 일찍 성전으로 그분께 가더라. |
